Wife is asking the gurus on Arfcom for help.

We have WMP and for some reason we CANNOT get video. We get sound... but NO VIDEO. I get video on other media player but not WMP.

Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

what type of video wont play? did you run an update for wmp?

Yes, bride has updated to WMP v.10.0 Fore example someone here sent a video of the B52 RC plane flying... I get the sound but on visual.

I ran into this same problem once. It has to do with how the video was encoded.

Go to this site and download/install the free version of Divx. It should fix the issue with the WMP. Hope this helps.

like ovrtym said you need the divx plug in, wmp 10 don't have the divx plug in cause Micro$oft wont support divx.
