Two days ago as I was going to bed I noticed my left "big toe" was twiching(actually, that muscle on the side that pulls the bigtoe outward). Well, It kept me up again last night and now its even began twitching during the day!

Is this sort of thing normal guys?

Is this the begining of Parkinsons or some kind of neuro-muscular disorder?

Please help as I'm a hypochondriac (poor college student who can't afford to go to the doctor over a little twich) and my mind is blowing this way out of proportion hopefully.

I think its getting worse. I feel tired and shaky, and my muscles "tingle", also, I have had slight spazms in other muscles.

Want my advice? Stop reading about medical conditions on the internet right now. Symptoms can be psychosomatic and your mind can tend to blow things out of proportion, you are probably having anxiety problems. Its happened to me before. Go see a doctor if it will really make you feel better. When you freak out and get your self all worked up you are hyperventilating which causes the tingling in your muscles. Quit freaking out and relax, goto the range, goto the gym, do what ever you do to relieve stress. If it doesnt go away in a week or so then go see a physician. Quit worrying you are fine.

Could be gout are you eating very rich foods!!! Gout shows up in the toes first,soreness ,ect!!

Good luck see a doctor!!

Muscle twitches ARE NOT FATAL. Your an airborn NCO for gods sake. There ARE LOTS of things more likely to kill you than a toe twitch.
