Schumer, who pushed for the ban as a congressman 10 years ago, said the streets are safer because of the ban. "If anything we need the law more than we did then because of terrorism," said Schumer, who also plans today to ask stores including Wal-Mart not to sell assault weapons if the ban expires.

Well, Fuckie Chuckie, seems like the terrorists didn't exactly follow FAA flight rules, the laws concerning immigration and visas, or the existing laws on explosives in 1993 (WTC I), now did they, ASSHOLE?

"There's not a day that goes by that I don't remember why I'm here," said McCarthy, who has been a national gun-control advocate since her husband was killed and her son injured in the Long Island Rail Road shooting in 1993. "I'm not giving up until midnight Sept. 13," she said. "There is always hope."

Condolences for her loss, but I didn't think that the long Island shooter used an "assault weapon"... (Ruger P-89)

I just discovered that if I disable cookies in one browser, I can vote with it as many times as I want. I use another browswer with cookies enabled to watch the count move up. I think that's how DU's and the Anti's are doing it.
