I have a Mete MC9 and I am very happy with it. No failures, easy to conceal, good price.
I also own Glock 19's that I like, but for the price I prefer the Canik MC9. |

Did anyone suggest a glock yet?
JK, I have a og elite combat, the trigger is awesome, it was my comp gun before I got the C2. I have a few p99s, and a pdp as well. Try out the SC, its tiny in size but kind of bulky in width if you ask me. I am a 1911 fan and carry a 365 with xl mags, but thats not what you asked. |

I had a SF Elite. Regret selling it. The short reset trigger does take a little getting used to. First time out, I thought it had a switch.

I only have one, but the first time I shot it I was amazed at the trigger. Had some initial FTE problems with 115 grain ammo, but after switching to 124 grain it ran perfectly. After that, 115 worked fine too. Despite the haters, the Turks make some good guns.
Appears that there are a lot of Canik variations available these days. |

Isn't it interesting how all the Glock guys have to shit in this thread... but there are zero Canik owners coming in to tell you to go with Glock?

Not sure if they fixed the issue with the newer models, but the OG Caniks were awesome except for their finish.
I carried my SF Elite for about a year, and it looked like I towed that gun through a warzone. Only other minor complaint was that they're heavy for what they are. But that's no big deal. Great shooters. Terrible finish though. Mags used to be pricey, not sure if they still are. Attached File Attached File |

Owner of a few Caniks. Great guns, great triggers, great reliability.
I have an SC, it is AMAZINGLY accurate for such a small gun, iron sights hits on steel at 25 yds are easy, with a red dot they are stupid easy. But you usually don't need that kind of accuracy for carry. I do not carry it as it is too wide, heavy and too top heavy for carry for me. I would have no concerns about carrying any Canik. I simply prefer the much smaller Kimber Micro. I have not pulled the trigger (I crack myself up) on an MC9 yet only because I have had a carry option that I like. But if I were starting from scratch, the MC9 would be my choice. |

I have the SF Elite from before they made it optics ready. Personally I would buy the Elite Combat if I could have a threaded barrel in my state. Comes with upgraded controls, trigger, and optic ready. If you are trying to spend less than a Glock G48 or P365, the Micro Dagger is a great option, and I personally hate Glock and have a 365. View Quote That's where you're wrong. I thought about the smaller format guns. The G26 is only about 1/8" thicker, and then factor in the total thickness of the gun and the holster it's not much difference overall. But the G26 can take regular double stack mags. 21 rounders fit well in the back pocket. |
