I have to take exception to this assertment; downstate Illinois is to Chicago what upstate New York is to New York City.
I was born & raised in downstate Illinois, leaving in '85 for the Lone Star State. The only real difference between downstate Illinois folks and Texans is the jean brand and the accent.

I remember a couple of weeks ago, there was a huge topic thread about when do we fight. The general consensus what we fight when they come for our guns.

Now, I know that the whole CAGE story is a bit dated....

But, I haven't heard of any northern Illinois Militia units carrying out any operations against CPD and CAGE.

Where is the NA on this? I thougt congres ruled collecting gun databases wa ruled unconstitutional as per the 4'th amedment.

That's just the registration logs that we know about! What about the records that truly are kept under wraps????

Yeah, I used to have some inlaws in Salem. Very nice area. Might have even considered moving there if not for that human cesspool of Chicago. I felt genuinely bad for those in southern IL. Good people, shitty gov't with a bunch of neofascist assholes running it.
Other than that all I have to say is that the Chicago area FIBS can all s&$k my f*@king c%*k. Hope that was clear enough.

Not much ever really came of it. Nobody ever went around rounding up everyone's guns. I never got a no-knock at 2am. I have never even been asked by the State Police if I even have a gun.

If revolutions are supposed to start over little shit like that, then fireworks displays would be going off every other day.

I'd like to think of myself as a student of history and in doing so, I remember a little thing that lead to a big thing starting mid 1700's in "The Colonies" (Present day America)

Change is effected only by the party willing to go ALL the way, otherwise, you get it how an oppresive government dictates it to you. When is it enough? When it comes to tactics like that addressed in this thread, how far is too far? By what measure do we define an American today? Are we now just lazy people of "talk" and ineffective vote? We (Americans) would all be served BETTER by remembering THIS lesson when it comes to opression and tyranny.

I'll try also but I have lost a great deal of confidence in the system working for liberty during my lifetime.

As for the original question, I say shoot for the head. Think 3D and go for the brainstem.

I agree there is only so much you can do at the poles. How does your vote matter when the sheeple out number you, How do you cast your vote when both sides want to take your guns.
It really saddens me but I think its going to get eXtreme eventually.

Wow. Just wow. I drive to Ohio alot from out west and usually don't bother to stow my Glock per communist rules while passing through Marxist states. I leave the loaded gun in the center console. Did Waco/Ruby Ridge piss you off enough to revolt? Did you drive to Waco or Idaho to help out? What would it take for you to revolt?

We just revolted here in Kali and got rid of an asshole at the polls. Not a single shot was fired. It can be done.

I am not so quick to declare revolution as many here. But I have already told my wife that the day they come through the door for my guns, will be the day that I take A STAND and FIGHT. I work with lots of cops. I have had converstations with the ones in the local drug unit who bust in doors for a living. None of them are chomping at the bit to confiscate anyone's guns. But I did make sure and let them know that when you bust into a man's house in the middle of the night with arms drawn, you become a target. It was a hint of what they'll be facing at my home, and the homes of many others if they ever confiscate weapons in a mass manner. That's my line in the sand... when they ignore the 2nd Ammendment and come to take away the guns.

Also... I agree with those who've stated that Chicago is WAY past being able to fix with votes. It's not the people on this board who you have to get motivated, it's all the sorry sacks of crap out there who don't give a damn about the Constitution and the BOR. Good luck man...
