RMGO post said it was "likely" the last meeting... But there's still 3 days left.
I guess it's unlikely (but not impossible) for a bill to move from where it's at, to getting passed before the end of session. Make no mistake, this is exactly the sort of thing that passes at 11:59 pm on the last day of the session, as they all run away from the Capital. |

Firearm Liability Insurance Requirement Concerning a requirement that firearm owners maintain liability insurance, and, in connection therewith, requiring insurers to make coverage available in homeowners and renters insurance policies for damages resulting from accidental or unintentional discharge of a firearm. This one however is being worked on Monday. And I agree they could do it last minute which while this thread is more of a hypothetical until the session is over. |

Iowa used to do a final budget /catch-all / lump everything left Bill to pass in the final days of the Legislature. It was meant for mostly finance but they could ram something through on it if they wanted.

Property taxes were figured on the passing of the bill to kill tabor. When it failed, the whole state had to go back and redo all the property taxes at a lower level.
