Where is a good place to start for Class III purchases.  Looking at getting into that end of it and looking for some leads.

For those in the know:
Is there such thing as a transferable MP5 or UMP (pre 86')?

Two excellent websites for NFA weapons:

www.subguns.com and www.sturmgewehr.com   go to the classified/NFA ad boards.  In the EE right here on AR15.com, there is also an NFA section, and while its good to check out, it doesn't get nearly the traffic subguns and sturmgewehr do.

You can get a transferable MP5 sear gun for about $13k, but there are no transferable UMPs.  Nice thing about the sear guns is that you can use the sear in other HK weapons (HK91, SP89, 94, 93, etc.) so with one sear you can have several different guns which you can use in full auto.

Be careful, once you start it is hard to stop!  You will do everything possible to get another NFA gun.

Ask for David.  tell him Eric from Houston sent you.  His site ain't all that, but he's a great classIII resource.
He's got great data on getting incorporated.  That way you can get around the CLEO signature.

Also 100%.

Also you begin to see things like $8,000 as really not that bad a price.

But at the same time will order pizza without toppings cause you are saving for a part.
