The original Texaco refinery.  It now belongs to Shell.

I can't wait to see it in my rearview mirror.

Outstanding.........I needed some good news for a change.

Knowing you I wouldn't worry about the depression but worry about you taking on too much so that work would seem like vacation.

Congrats my friend.

Tj

Thanks, TJ.

You and your son need to head this way and go shooting with me sometime.

Thanks Dram.

I plan on it.

A couple of old guys at church that do maintenance projects are anxiously awaiting my retirement.  I asked them, "Do you need any Supervisors?"  They said, "No.  We got plenty of those.  We need worker bees".

Guess I just got demoted.

Milspec term. Means...

"Fuck It Got My Orders"

When you're "gettin out" or being transferred you walk around and point/laugh at everyone and yell FIGMO and/or SHORT (Note---This is pronounced  SHOOOOOOOOOORRRRRT) . This endears you to everyone who has to stay...

I've been stealing from someone on Arfcom and telling my co-workers, "I'm so short, I could repel off a dime".

I am driving them crazy.

I'll try, but the first day will be September 1, opening day of dove season in Texas.

I plan on watching the sun rise over the barrels of my double barrel 20 gauge.

Outstanding and Congratulations!!

I'm 7 points away from early retirement and 8 years away from retirement with 30 years.  I envy you my friend.

Now on your last day you get a chance to tell all those MF'n folks who have made your life miserable what you really think of them. What are they going to do.......fire you?

Well, today my boss told me that since I had finished some major projects for him early, that if I wanted to, I could sign out for good.  I said, "Thanks", and left.

As I drove out of the refinery, I was thanking God for 32 years of a good and steady paycheck.  I have been truly blessed.

Now, I start a new chapter of my life.  I am ready.
