How to navigate the forums? > General Discussion

Geeze these forums are massiave!

I cant figure out how to find my previous posts...I have 'subscribed' to a few to try that route, but cant even figure out how to find my subscribed posts.

I see alot of 'tagging' going on...How does that work.

While I'm at it...Can someone clue me in to what a Team Member is?

Team member means you ponied up at least $20.

Tagged means you can go to active topics and find a post you are interested in keeping up with.

Thanks for the response, but there has to be a better way than scanning 200 pages looking for a post you made ...I mean with all the different forums and all, how do you keep up with it?

if team members make a post in a thread, it goes to a list called "My Active Topics" that way its easy to keep up with everything. before i was a team member, i just made a folder in Favorites and added threads to the folder

Go to your bookmarks or whatever and click "Add Bookmark" and put it in a ARFCOM folder

if i recall subscribing will send you and email when someone posts in the thread and send you the link. I have not used it in a LOOOOng time so i could be wrong.

the my active topics is probobly the best feature other than search that you get with a membership.

what are you looking for? i will search and post the link for you.

"My Active Topics" is definitely the best feature IMO. It's definitely worth the $20.

Actually I was inquiring about the Team Member status because I was considering supporting the site, without knowledge of this function whatsoever, but it sounds like a nice perk.
