Well Im going back to the car after going to the ATM, I was headed to work next so I didnt have my carry rig on (no carry policy). Up comes a black guy in a Prowler asking me what is my problem, then says "fucking white boy" hits me across the face. (I already had the car door open at this time) so I go in the car reach for pistil (Cs52) in my back pocket. He throws another ounch I quess my gun came loose when grabbing he and me grabbed it out my hand as I was going to throw the saftey off. After that he points it at me then goes to the car leaves saying "Im tired of these fucking white people". So I call cops, after grabbing my normal carry gun and holster and putting it on. Give them the description of the car, (Silver Prowler custom GA tag) I wait, 10 min later cops finally show up. I answer questions, give report. Told now if they find him they will charge with simple battery and theft by taking. Lessons learned Wear a good holster 24/7 Carry a knife No more guns with any saftey on the side. Well Im at work now Im pissed. |
That is why I like my Walther P99. No manual safety to fumble with, but still has internal safeties and a heavy DA mode to start with (if you prefer). I STILL need to get my CCW and a good IWB holster though.

Bit of blood I have done worse to myself though. Now Im sitting here wondering, if it had been reversed and lets say I had used racial slurs and made in seem the motivation I wonder if they would be wanting me on a violation of civil rights charge too. Since it was a C&R gun I got to call BATFE tomorrow, and report. What should I expect. |
I got a G21 but cant carry in the summer because its too damned big, I normally carry a XD40 but it was sitting after its last cleaning and oiling at the house. It likes rusting so I was letting it soak. |

Glad you are okay. What part of GA are you in. The "I'm sick of you fucking white people" thing has happened a few times around Albany. Some, who will remain nameless, have taken to unlicensed carry at night due to this. I'm still waiting on my permit. It should be easy to find the guy, assuming the car wasn't stolen. How did he get the gun away from you? |

wth. you go armed, but don't pay attention to what's around you at an ATM?? why bother, if you don't work at protecting yourself? And how did you let this mofo get within arm's reach of you? and THEN get disarmed. I would look at myself and try and figure out why I looked like an easy target. One on one is a fair fight. Why did you let him violate the 7 foot rule? Why did you let him hit you twice? Was he armed before you let him take yours? Not meaning to bust your balls, but be glad your alive. It could have been must worse. Glad your ok. |

Gouge(sp) his f"ck-in eyeballs out, kick his balls through his as@, anything!He is driving a $60000.00 car and robbed you, then again, maybe he robbed you to help make his monthly car payment, the dirty savage. Im in Augusta. I didnt have it in a holster so I just threw it in a pocket for 1 min at the ATM since it was the days only stop. When I get home Im getting an IWB for every pistol I ever carry a new good belt for them and a good knife to go on it. |
so you had a fucking gun in your pocket when a man was approaching you on your way to your car, after a visit to the ATM. I would have drawn the weapon man sooner. |
It's great to have a CCW but back that up with some martial arts lessons. If they guy takes a swing you'll have the necessary reactions to block or dodge and strike back, then pull your piece. You need sufficient space between you and the bad guy to employ your weapon successfully. You're lucky he didn't use your weapon against you or take your car. Glad you are safe. Sign up for some Judo or Tae Kwon Do lessons this week. |
Yeah, the racism stuff is often unfair, white people don't seem to count when it comes to their rights in some areas. I use to get a lot of racist comments and so on, because I lived in an area with a fairly high number of Nation of Islam members in the area. edited for spelling and to add - He should be charged with assault with a deadly weapon. No offense taxman, but carrying didn't help you, you need to train in self defense, learn a defensive posture so you don't get picked on ,and lastly learn to kick ass. |

You can't just pull a gun on whoever the hell you want randomly. What you can do, is be ready for them if you see them coming, and they look extremely suspicous. |
ETA: In this case, some aggresion might have helped. You can't just pull a gun out on anybody, but it is probably pretty safe to do so in a situation like this one. A gun in the hand instead of the pocket may have prevented this from happening. Hopefully they will find the guy that did this before he uses Taxman's gun to shoot the next white person that he accosts. |
Well I have a car that sits low, so I have to walk up to the ATM. Im going around the front of car on the way back towards the drivers side, when car pulls upright behind me, Im in empty parking lot. I figured they might be pulling up to go to drop box for a second since I was in the front place. so from fheir door to mine was not much more then 7ft and I dodnt want to draw on someone who might be just going to the bank. he threw 2nd punch right as I was going for pistol. He was not armed as I know of. |
yeah but he was a complete stranger, that approached within striking range at an ATM. At least have your hand on the weapon. |

Gun was loose he grabbed at it when I took my thumb off it while I was pulling it since I had to throw off the saftey otherwise so I didnt have a good grip on it. Im describing this as best I can beucase this was a quick thing that only lasted a few seconds. I would be damn surprised if they charge him with anything racicaly motivated at all. Honestly have you ever heard of a racial charge when a "minority" was the attacker and someone white was the victim? |
They might have cought the car leaving but the event was at the wrong angelt. This was after I was done at the ATM. He didnt get any money. |
