That which is unreal when treated as real becomes real in its consequences. It is often said that this theory applies to almost everything we face in society. Gender, class, and race, are all said to be a result of the unreal being treated as real. Do you agree? If so why, and if not, why not? Remember gender is not sex, race is not color, and class is not income or social status.

Thats absolutely true. It doesnt matter if something exists if you BELIEVE it exists because if you believe then you will act accordingly. Religion is the best example of this theory. When you say gender is not sex do you mean sex as in coitus? If so then I agree. |
Then I must disagree, i dont see how gender and sex (male/female) arent the same thing. |
