Thats all I can think of right now.

His insurance owes you major bucks.  If you're in that bad of shape from the accident  You will most likely be this way rest of your life.

There is something for people in your situation.  Total incompacitation = Disability.

There is no way I'll let myself be incapacitated for the rest of my life.
If that is the case someone may as well put me down now...

Lawyer up, home fries. Any lawyer worth his salt will get you some big cash whether it's via settlement or what.

I am not the biggest fan of lawyers (sorry, Arfcom atty's) but that's exactly what you need right now.

The best advice any one can give is to see a lawyer in your own jurisdiction. In the mean time, it's probably a good idea to avoid talking to the other party's insurance company or reps or really anybody, for that matter....if you can help it.

This goes doubly for you, since not only do you have a potential personal injury claim, but if wrongfully terminated, you might potentially have a retaliatory discharge claim. This is especially true if you are terminated specifically because you took advantage of the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) or any other similar mandate.

Depending on the area you live in and what attorneys are available, you may need to seek 2 attorneys.... if you get a guy that specializes in PI to handle the traffic accident, it's not too likely he'll be anxious to take on an employment law case and vice versa. Arguably, you might be better off with a general practitioner that can handle both cases.

If at all possible, check the attorneys' martindale hubbell rating - not all attorneys are rated and ratings don't guarantee results, but they can help you stay away from the dregs. good luck
