What do you guys have in yours? (Civilian use)

Just trying to get ideas...I have a BOB and a LBE set-up, but the vest is supposed to be different, right? Have any of you incorporated your vest with your SHTF GOOD gear?

6 AR mags, 3 P226 mags, a bunch of wet wipes, a few little tools, a juice box and a rolled up Hustler.

I have my priorities when shooting, however twisted they may be.

Hustler? Ok, now this thread is gonna get real interesting...Well you have the wet naps and the hustler, now you need to be like joker581 and carry a pack of smokes for afterwards

With 360 5.56 rouds on my chest, I can seize the TP when I need it. Or, maybe I could steal it from the shitter at Burger King.

I look at my vest as part of my BO gear. It consists of, Blackhawk standard  Omega 1 vest in OD green. 12 ar mags, 6 Shotgun shells in right chest pouch(2 slug, 4 buck), left chest pouch 2 20 round AR mags(for prone) USGI tritium lensatic compass in upper left shoulder pocket. Camelback system in vest pouch on the back. I'm still looking for a low cost small backpack to integrate into  the back of the vest  for extended BO gear(3 day pack, etc). But on the connected pistol belt is a large butt pack with a small flat container of baby wipes, small roll of 550 cord, rain poncho, signal mirror,4 cyalume light sticks, small first aid kit, a couple of power bars, bug spray, mini firestarting kit, and an extra water bottle. On the belt up front is a Leatherman tool(in its own holster), Ka-bar sheath knife, 3 spare pistol mags, and a XD-9 in Bianchi gear. Its fairly heavy, but I can carry it and move no problem and its all I need to keep going for a couple days.
Is it just me, or is sitting in low ready easy when those mag pouches are full?

BH Urban Assault..Just got it in a trade and I love it..No cross draw holster though...

Has room for 8 AR Mags, 3 Pistol mags, camelback, radio in bcak and 2 small pouches. Was thinking of small 1st aid in one and needed essentials in the other (Powerbar, TP, matches, etc)

Think weighs a ton right now though...I feel bad for our troops and their interceptors..

Please be careful with your terminology over here, seems there is an "Assault"  issue currently taking place here at ARFCOM and I would hate to see you and your vests drug into it.

Hunter out...

I have a 5.11 vest. When I can afford it, I want a couple packs of quik clot and a couple pressure bandages. Other than that, cell phone, smokes, athsma inhaler, nasal spray decongestant, folded paper towels, wet wipes, couple ar mags, pistol + 3 pistol mags, flashlight, food bars, water in the water pouches. I also have a shoulder pouch for six more mags.

Blackhawk Omega Mag Vest/Black.  12 30rd AR mags,  Glock 27 in crossdraw rig, 3 spare pistol mags, Gerber multi tool, 3 sets of flexcuffs,  small med kit (bandages, antiseptic, various meds) couple power bars, neoprine gloves.

Milspec LBE/Black fits over if needed with 12 more 30rd mags, belt bandoleer with 8 shotgun shells, hunting knife and extra holster for Sig 226.

Overkill, u bet.  Fun to look at though.

Assault vest is fine. It's a vest you'd want when going to a location where an assault could
possibly take place.

"Assault" weapon thread. ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=259781

I don't have a vest.

Keep the pack seperate from the vest. You may have to ditch the pack in BO situation and having it attached would make that very near impossible to do fast enough.

How do you fit 12 mags with a crossdraw holster on the vest. The crossdraw holster takes the place of two mag pouches, at least on the one's I've seen. Did you add pouches to it or something?
