Whichever's cheapest...

the lower has little bearing on accuracy/reliability, apart from the fact that it houses the FCG...

All the important stuff is in the upper....

My namesake is an old 1991 pre ban Eagle Arms HBAR CAR-15. The receiver was milled slightly out of spec and it took me 10 years to figure out the problem and two trips to the factory. It is now a surpurb weapon, but it left me with a bad experience that almost caused me to throw it in the trash after constant frustration with it.

Check out the Lauer (LMT) lowers that Dennysguns has on the EE. If you want a good looking lower, the Lauer is tits & ass over the EagleArms.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the lowers listed, but my first chioce would be either the Eagle or the Mega.

I just picked up an Ameetec lower last week. It has as good a fit and finish as any I've ever used. $85.00 delivered or 3 for $80.00 ea. delivered. Can't beat the price or the quality.

I am also looking into one of the Lauers(LMT), from the response on the thread it looks like alot have been happy with them so far.

yup.you realy just choose a logo.

that said, i liked the olf RRA logo and olympic arms.

+2 Yep.....how many different companies actually make the forgings? Anyone know? I know of two: Lewis Machine & Tool (LMT) and Cotinental Forging.....those more knowledgable, chime in!
