If you buy an 80% rec. and a parts kit and upper ,etc. to build yourself. Would this weapon be registered? Incomplete lowers don't have serial #s do they?
Sorry I know its stupid, but I never thought before of making my own.
Help is appreciated.

correct, no serial # and no registration if you're really worried find one at a gun show and pay cash (I'd post the guy popping out of the chimney but I can't find which smiley it is) that's what I plan to do someday
