WTF have we come to??? I think it's just outrageous that we've come to the point where people are expecting to get paid just to return something they've found. Come on folks, that's just stupid. What happened to good morals? Obviously "gettin paid" is more important than doing the right thing anymore, which is a shame. I know I'm prolly gonna get flamed over this, but I don't care. It's one thing to offer someone some cash or something when they return something as a reward, but people expecting it is just ridiculous. I don't buy the whole theory of "You should have offered him some money for the phone", "And since you didn't and just expected to get your property back you're a dick and deserve what you got". How about "Gee, I found this cell phone, and the guy that owns it called me on it, maybe I should tell him where I am so he can come pick it up." I could continue to rant, but I'm too pissed off right now. And it wasn't even my phone. This shit just makes me sick. |
