I am headed to Seton Hall come September for an MA in International Relations and Diplomacy.... Wanna see who my specialization professor will be???  He was born in Cairo, Egypt in 1965, emigrated to Lebanon in 1967 and the United States in 1969. Oh yeah- studying in NJ. Grad school in the liberal arts. Wearing gun paraphernalia. Bandoleers?? Is all this going to advance your life and career? What's wrong with combining all these?  If you can't figure this one out, I see managing a Wendy's in your future.

Actually, I'm in NJ quite a lot for Revolutionary War reenactments there- the whole state is one big battleground of the 1775-83 era. You name it, it happened there in the American Revolution!  But once the reenactment is over, I get the hell out!  ...and go back to the relative safety and freedom of Massachusetts....

You'd be surprised to learn that my favorite teachers in undergrad college were liberals. One of them led the hippie movement in the 60's and another is a hardcore UN-er. They taught me how to study both sides of any and every issue, andas a result I am a HELL of alot smarter than if I had studied from only conservative professors. In fact, that is EXACTLY why I chose seton hall. It would be easy to go to a conservative school, but I felt a challenge was in order. |
