Okay, time to tap the vast knowledge of the group.  Everyone finished laughing?  Okay, I've got something growing on my grass, killing it.  It is the poofy pink stuff in the picture below.  The actual color is more pink than in the pic.  When I take a close look, it appears to be some kind of mold or fungus, clinging to the grass blades.  Anyone have any idea what the hell this is?  More importantly, how do I get rid of it?

PINK SNOW MOLD
Also known as
FUSARIUM PATCH
Symptoms: Irregular and round patches of brown and yellow grass. White and pink cottony fungus appears after rainfall.

Cause: Fungus develops in areas of heavy snow cover, such as snow banks.

Control: Avoid high Nitrogen applications in late summer and fall. Keep grass mowed until growth seizes in the fall and minimize thatch. Improve air circulation and soil drainage.
Use Later's Benomyl in the spring when symptoms appear at 50 grams (10 tsp) in 10-20 litre water per 100 m² or: 1 ounce/1 gal water/ 500 so ft. Repeat in 2 weeks.
