How does that even happen? As in finding it and having it on your phone, messaging to someone unsolicited, have them report it to the point that discord (seriously how did discord ban you) bans you AND they report it to FBI.

What the fuck.

Sure, Wilson.  Your team has a top 3 defense and yet they are 3-8 because the QB they traded a truckload of picks for AND gave $240M to is a bottom 3 QB and the “leader” of THE worst offense in the NFL.  Your team is currently in line for a top 3 draft pick that they don’t even get because they traded it away for you.

I’m sure your relationship with everyone in that locker room is just great.

As a Chiefs fan I've said from the beginning people were counting the Bengals out too early in the season.  I feel like the Bengals are a huge threat in the playoffs.  As far as Chase getting doubled...it's possible, but the Chiefs haven't really been double teaming anyones number one guy very often at all.  They leave their corners in single coverage a lot and send lots of blitzers often.  Currently the Chiefs have 4 rookies in the secondary in nickel or dime situations.  Three rookie corners a first, fourth, and seventh rounders as well as a rookie safety now that Thornhill is out.  Bengals have a very good shot at beating the Chiefs.

Justin Reid just loaded Cinci's WR room with bulletin board material.

That secondary is going to get cooked this week.

Who do we think is COTY right now?

In general, I'm kind of leaning towards Sirianni, and I don't think it takes much to argue in his favor. That team is doing a lot right.

My runner up is Mike McDaniel. The catch with him is, as usual, Tua. How good do we think Tua is vs how much credit do we give McDaniel credit for Tua's performance so far.

The field behind those guys is pretty tough. Vrabel always seems to get a larger sum than the whole of his team's parts. Everyone wrote Seattle and Carroll off for dead, and they're in the mix somehow. Shanahan is getting it done with his own brand of chaos. And then there's the weird anomalies like the way it can be argued that the 4-7 Jaguars are a better team than the 9-2 Vikings, but you can't reward a loser, even if Pederson's team is playing well.

Tua is the reason he should get it.  He took a QB with his confidence shot and built an offense around his strengths.

Robert Saleh.

Though if the Seahawks end up winning the NFC West it has to be Pete Carroll.

That offense looked great when Fitzmagic was at the wheel, and then they added Tyreek Hill. It's hard to give McDaniel credit for that.

If we think Tua is good, then McDaniel can't win it for the same reason Reid and McDermott can't win it.

During the off season my impression from the general public, and most the regulars in this thread, was that they didn't have faith in Tua's talent. So I'd say all those people better be on the McDaniels COTY train

On one hand, the Jets are an average at best team that happen to have a winning record.

On the other hand, the Jets are an average at best team that happen to have a winning record while also having a really bad roster.

I think Saleh deserves a lot of credit for that, but I'm not sure he's our guy.

Well, since Jerry ran off Jimmy Johnson, look at what they have accomplished since the dynasty aged out. Between Aikman and Romo there was lots of seasons of mediocrity. With Romo, they didn't win as much as they should have.

The only constant has been Jerry Jones. Coaches have come and gone, Jerry remains.

A few years ago, an ESPN writer shadowed Jerry for a month or so in the offseason, and wrote about it.

The 2 things I got from the article that jived with stuff I have read previously, 1 Jerry Jones is a highly functional alcoholic. Like, I like booze as much as anyone but holy shit. 2, Jerry expressed to the reporter, many times, worded different ways, that the most important thing to him is winning his way, with him getting the credit. If he had a binary choice, hire an actual GM, provide them the resources to run the team and be guaranteed to legitimately compete for and occasionally win super bowls, Vs what he is doing now, having almost total control of the team, competing for NFC East titles and 1 and done in the playoffs, maybe bounced in the divisional round, as they have the last 25 years, well, he is fine with not winning championships if he can't do it his own way.

McCarthy didn't have his franchise QB for a quarter of the season and they're humming.

Rivera has managed to keep his team together amid a horrible QB signing/benching, the continuous worst owner in sports doubling down and getting worse everyday, new shitty story after shitty story get leaked week after week, and they've had the best 7 game stretch and are currently a play off team.

I'm not saying either of those should get COTY, but there's an argument for both of them, just like all the coaches you mentioned. this could really come down to the wire at the end of the season.

It was on ESPN, probably 6,7 years ago. Sorry.

One thing that I remember, the guy was in Jerry's limo with him late at night. They were driving past a bar about to close. Jerry went in and insisted they be served. They refused, Jerry threatened to buy the bar and fire everyone

Yeah, I don’t know how much he can contribute 9 months off an ACL tear, I think he will cost too much and I am not sure about the locker room.

According to FOX 13, Tampa police officers showed up at Brown's Florida residence on Monday while he was in an altercation with a woman whom he has "multiple children" with.

Cops, according to the outlet, claim Brown "threw a shoe at the victim striking her in the ponytail." They then said Brown "would not open the door or come outside to speak with officers."

During the dispute, Brown allegedly threw the woman's belongings out onto the street ... and, per cops, "attempted to issue an informal eviction to the victim."

FOX 13 reports despite multiple attempts to get Brown to come outside and allow the woman to gather her things, cops say he refused. The outlet says officers then "advised the victim to spend the night elsewhere."

Regardless of the trash talk I've felt the Bengals were the biggest threat all year even though they had a rough start and everyone jumped on the Bills/Dolphins band wagons.  I feel like the Bengals healthy may be the best team in the AFC and I've felt this way since the beginning of the season.

In general, it seems like this kind of trash talk goes wrong with regularity consistently enough that it should move Vegas lines. The team producing the bulletin board material should be dropped two points.

Specific to this situation, Justin Reid is, at best, an average to above average safety, and the Bengals have one of the best receiving groups in the league. This was never going to be pretty, and now those Cinci receivers have more fuel for their fire.

The Chiefs secondary is going to get roasted.

Honestly it applies to way more than just the Cowboys.

ML didn't get much credit for taking GB from the team & record that got McCarthy fired to a 13-3 team. Rodgers got that credit, mostly.

Taking being a Bills fan out of the equation, seeing how these 2 always talk to and about each other as brothers and teammates is cool

I just heard a clip on the radio where Lebron James was bitching about a 1957 picture of 14 year old Jerry Jones looking on as some older kids stood in the door of the school trying to keep some black students out, sounded like a whiny ass bitch as usual.

How can you not root for these guys?  No matter what happens the rest of the year, this team feels special.

Big middle finger to all the Bills fans on Reddit who crucified me when I replied to Von's comment, that he wanted to play next week against the Jets, suggesting that he should have taken the surgery/recover and come back for the post season.

Yep. And when Diggs voiced cracked, I think that was real emotion.

Saw this recently with Diggs and just the way he spoke about JA in general, you know its not just lip service.

I would rather have this then him play the rest of the season on a damaged meniscus and potentially blow out his knee completely. The Pro Football Doc, last week, said 4-6 week recovery. If still accurate, that would put him back at the Patriots game wk 18 on the high end.
