Most of the time, it doesn't matter, and it's a specialty round not in the supply chain. The good news is that one can switch .308/6.5CM with a simple BBL swap. Same gun, bolt, mags, gas system, everything. So easy to do if change their minds either way. |

Quoted: Nice gun choice. POHR cartridge choice since is not like 7.62x51 isn't a legacy cartridge for them. Does NATO commonality really mean much when most of NATO's military strength is theoretical anyway? View Quote 1) Keep using antiquated rimmed cartridge that you only ever used in the first place because the dirty fucking Russians made you 2) transition to better cartridge that all of your allies use and which is much more widely available in more modern firearms and that you probably get better economies of scale on |

They kinda missed their target date then. Pretty sure CZ has said from the get go on the BR that it was mil/leo only They’ll sell to us exactly when they’re done fulfilling military orders. They had this in the pipeline and didn’t want to commit to a release date until the King’s Men get theirs. |

View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Well so is the Dragunov... lol... when they were new and with reallllly good ammo, maybe. The prototypes were quite good, especially for the early 1960s, though still not up to current western standards. However, the rifling that achieved great accuracy with specialty ammo shot standard ammo terribly. So Soviets gonna Soviet and they changed the rifling to get decent DMR accuracy with specialty ammo, and at least doable performance with standards loads. |

There's been some speculation that these differences are the causes for some of the X39 guns having issues, but it's also been documented that not everyone who owns a X39 Bren 2 has experienced problems. I don't own a X39 Bren, but I would very much like to add a few once these issues have been ironed out. In the meantime, the 5.56 Brens have been awesome. Almost three years of ownership, and not a single issue to date. |

I wonder how many SVDs they have.
Given their army is something like 30k, I'm thinking a thousand or two at most |

Geez, how much would you guys even pay for a shot out, or clapped out in the newspeak, for a beat to shit former service DM rifle?
Is it for aesthetics and the chase to own one finally or what? Genuinely curious because I helped a friend's Ishevsk SVD for $14,000, his Tigr for 10,000, and his Norinco NDM-86 for $8,000. I was like, what the heck? I had converted him to the AR15. He bought a KAC for himself, an LMT for his wife, a T-2 and a TA31 for the rifles, two Sandman cans, and pissed the rest away in ammo, mags, and night vision |
