Anyone have any experience with a pest control company for termites?  I found some flying ones in my house.  Want to get it checked out.

Any suggestions as to which company to contact?

Flying termites in the house is a VERY bad sign.  Time to get that checked!

First, make sure they're termites.  There are flying ants that look very similar.

Where I live, many of the pest control places don't handle termites.  Don't know why, but you'll want to find out who in your area specializes in them.

In the meantime, see if you can't see where they are coming in.  They build little mud tunnels from the ground to the wood.  If you can find the tunnels and remove them, and see where they have damaged the wood, you can at least kill the visible ones until a professional checks it out.

I use Arrow Exterminators.  I am pretty sure they are a national company.  I got the Sentricon System which is a bait method developed by Dow Chemical.  Have not had any problems.  If you decide to go with Sentricon, be sure the company does the monitoring of the bait stations on time and according to schedule - which is every 90 days.  Otherwise Dow can pull their license to sell Sentricon.

The reason I bring this up is because these pest companies are real good at selling you a system, but poor when it comes to staying on the monitoring schedule because they get behind and their help quits all the time.

I had this problem with Arrow at first.  After they missed the second monitoring, I called them up and told them I was going to sick the Ga Agricultural Board onto them if they did not stay on top of it.  They waived my $300 annual fee after that and have not missed a monitoring since.
