Is any body getting hijacked from this site?  Everytime i get on this site, strange icons and porn is added to my favorites and desktop....

I run a hijacker program and seems crazy, but true.  Only on AR15 is this happening..

Again nothing happens at any other time, and shows up after being here...

Help!!

Beleive or not, i go thru the regedit one line at a time and don't see a thing.  Why would i get these desktop icons while here?

Porn sites are not my priority, maybe Gun Porn.  If I want to fondle something, I open my safe and stroke my black barrels, worth alot more than free porn....w/pop-ups.

I don't get anything like that, but at least 3-4 times a week I get an intrusion alert from my  firewall while I'm here.

So far it has blocked them all.

If you figure out how it is happening, please let me know.

I love free porn!

I have firewalls, antihacker and my system is stealth to others.  Who knows? Just check my alert log and had 225 attempts at various ports..

McAfee works well, but this has me stumped.  Gun porn is enough...

First thing dump McAfee and get a virus scanner. I was working on a computer this past weekend in texas that had that POS McAfee on it .  I snagged my AVG disk from the laptop and,,, low and behold there was a virus on her computer. She insisted that her computer was clean and her virus definitions were up to date.

I hate to say that the above was not the first time I've been able to do that.

hehe.  you don't even know how true that really is.  I got inside connections with them.  PLUS, ive been supporting a 4,000+ user company with everyone running it.  Talk about crap you wouldn't beleive.
I violate our license when the crap hits the fan and Im forced to install norton 7.62.   It happens to be the best working version of Norton out.  screw their latest one.  7.62 for life.

Gunned up-
Run windows update, run the critical updates.  Run spybot search and destroy 1.3 (just google for it), run hijack this, and then you'll be fine.  Sounds like a browser Hijacker took over.  (thanks IE and activeX)

1) Software firewalls, 'stealthing', etc... It's all BS... Worthless... Uninstall it al, you're wasting RAM

2) Get AdAware (www.lavasoftusa.com) & Spybot SD (google for it)... These 2 programs will fix the problem you're currently having (spyware/hijackers)...

3) The only other piece of 'security software' you need is a good AV package. McAfee or Symantec both work... Don't waste your money on 'total internet security' or any other package, just get the AV program itself...

4) If you have DSL or cable, get a HARDWARE firewall (aka a broadband router), which will stop IP worms & hacker attacks.
