I saw the thread on the RC B-52, and it is indeed way cool. Then this morning a friend sent me this link for a guy who is building a C-17. He must have a very understanding wife! BTW, as an example of the detail, he has a picture that shows the flaps at their max extension of 40.5 degrees.
