| I have had several interviews for NYL (New York Life) Insurance. Fourth one coming up this Tuesday. The managing partner wants to meet my "support base". In this case it would be my fiance. The interviews weren't really interviews. It was more just open dialog that went over the business, comps, training, and he then opened up the discussion to me. The meetings were scheduled for 1 hour but always went overtime. Anybody have any inside scoop on selling insurance, I would greatly appreciate it. BTW, I've read that NYL paid out General Custers Death Benefit: Gen. Custer's Policy face I know this is a solid company. Thanks! |
I had a long post about my interview with NY Life, and how I thought selling insurance as a vocation wasn't right for me. After I posted it, I realized you weren't asking for my opinion about whether it was right for me, you were asking for first-hand accounts and insights from people who've actually sold insurance. So I deleted everything I wrote. |
Did they start you on a burial policy route? |
Yes, sorry. I replied that I did not have time for a thoughtful and adequate reply at the time and put it to "Saved" where it is not visible--and forgot about it. (I was out of town for several days.) I just replied. Best wishes--and much success! |
