Howdy guys, Just bought a new truck. I was taking off the dealer's sticker (and license plate frame) and the sticker left some sticky residue in the form of the dealer's emblem. The more I mess with the stuff the more gooey it gets. What will take it off and not hurt the paint? -REAPER2502 |

Is that the same thing as GOOF OFF? I have a can of that. It says that is for gum, paint, etc. Think this will work? Obviously only a little on a rag, but what do I wipe the paint off with after I remove the sticky stuff? Rinse with water? I'm usually not so picky about stuff, but this is the first time I've ever bought a vehicle new off the lot and I want to take care of it so it will last me a while. -REAPER2502 |
| You go to the dealer and say "I bought a new vehicle here and for some reason someone at your company put a sticker on it. I didn't pay for a car with a sticker on it and I don't want a sticker on it. I took it off but there's still some residue on the car. Since you put the sticker on without my permission, I'd like for you to remove it so I can have the car appear the way I paid for it". |
Goof Off is great, but man does it stink. |
Yea. No stickers on my car. |
