A cursory google search also showed that the mounts failing early is a common problem for the factory mounts on that model year. Normally, they failed 20k miles ago. Or, about when the first owner sold it.

I was also paying $210/980rds LC M2 Wish I would have gotten into an FAL or two back then. Or the pre-05 AK kits that were $150 for an underfolder. Or the $100 SMLEs and Yugo Mausers Or . . . . Oh well |
