I drove a motorhome from Florida to Texas and back and a truck from Florida to Texas and back in December and never paid more than $2 a gallon and as low as $1.59. Gas has got up just on the threat of FJB in the White House.

I'm willing to bet that Ford, GM and everyone else that decided to essentially pull out of the sedan market due to dwindling sales and a market shifting to CUVs will be developing new compact and mid-size sedans by the end of Xiden's 1st term.

Gas will be way higher priced within the year. I suspect $3 by December due to commie Biden strangling domestic production. Oil companies will love it and the public will hate it.

California already set a sunset date on the sale of new gas powered vehicles.

I suspect that Xiden will announce the same thing federally. And given that vehicle development often starts 5-8 years before release, we are maybe a generation or two away from the end. So electric powered soulless CUVs for all.
