That said, I think an antifa would be more likely to sell it to China and an alt-right would be more likely to sell it to Russia Many of the young alt-righters (especially the accelerationist-leaning crowd), are big fans of Russia/Putin. They perceive the West as having "slid into degeneracy," and they agree with what they perceive as Putin's defense of traditional values. The interest in Eastern Orthodox Christianity among that crowd seems to be largely driven by this perception. Keep in mind that many of these kids were not around during the Cold War and look at Russia much differently than you or I might Or, it could be that she just went where the opportunity was. The article says she was trying to arrange the sale through a friend she has in Russia. Maybe she just didn't know anyone in China but would have been just as likely to go that route if she did idk it is all speculation at this point |
