For many who employ them, it isn't the wage. Most amigoes get paid more then $15/hr as is. It is how they pay them. $20/hr, in cash, weekly with no comp, healthcare, employer side withholdings, labor laws, OT etc is the appeal. Take all that away and you have a bunch of people milling about with no job. A bunch of mostly fighting age males who are used to living hard and keeping a fairly low profile. Yeah, nothing bad could come of that. ETA: Law enforcement and military are going to have a lot of openings once they purge all the "insurrectionists". "Service guarantees citizenship" |
