How come a forward grip which is quite popular for AR rifles, & other tacticle type weapons, aren't on tacticle shotguns as well?

I shot a short barreled moss500 that had a forward grip on it and it was way better, at least to me, in terms on controlability and ergonomics. I like it. Once I'm done pimping out the pre-ban ar I'll get to pimping out the mossburg. The thing is though that a forward grip on a shotty should be a round grip. Not like you see on some were it's an actual pistol grip. Those I don't like as much. Some people think it screws with the motion of racking the slide, but to me it makes the motion seem a bit more fluid. I like it, most people seem not to though.

So you liked it. I would think it would improve the handling  of the weapon in combat situations.
As far as causing a problem with the racking, I don't see why they couldn't make it work just as good as grabbing the forarm.
