He does not need a "multi-trillion dollar plan" to give qualifying Americans $2000, that is sit down and shut up while we rob your great grand children blind money.

Good, let them spend all the money they want, the sooner
we nose dive this bitch into the ground the sooner we can start over. Maybe there's still some men with the balls that our Founders had out there. |

If you get the money use it to buy food and stack it deep, this shit is gonna get out of control.

Wonder what would happen if the Federal Reserve refused to fund another huge stimulus bill or increase money supply?
On the bright side, I'm glad I went $240k in debt building a house on some property I have. Will be able to pay it off next year by selling an older Tacoma I have once all the giveaways pass this year. |

Quoted: I suspect that "aid to cities and states" will go to fund such things and cover for other failed Democrat policies. View Quote Yes bailing out states is the biggest issue and why we need to either re-elect Trump, hold the senate or both. I’m not holding the Republicans as the beacon of financial conservatism but they’d have never gone for aid to states because those most in need are dark blue. |

If we get $2k per person it's immediately going to get our house ready to sell. I'm getting the hell out of the city post haste.

I think the best we can hope for is collapse of the country and forming a new, better nation from the ashes.

It’s funny because lots of retarded college students don’t qualify because they are dependents.

Vaccination distribution is just fine. The issue is that nobody wants the damn thing.

If they only gave it to the people, it would be $40,000/each, (that's how much money is going to big businesses)

I got two stimulus checks in the mail. I got one in the mail on Friday then the next day there was another in my box. I don't know if it was a mistake or what?

Cool, putting it in savings as I'm good, nothing to purchase.

As with all these debt busting measures, details are fluid. Here is one projection that suggests NEW checks of $2,000 per adult and not just adding $1,400 to the current round #2 checks of $600 per adult. Do not make purchases/plans on this possible new check. Congress is Congress and nothing may happen, amounts may change or they may get $1,400 payments out by the end of the month. Until a bill is passed by Congress and signed by a legitimate or illegitimate President....it is just talk.
Source Scroll down about halfway to see one option. Basically $2,000 per adult plus $600 for each kid. Democrat Senator Joe Manchin could be a roadblock: One possible defection could be Senate Democrat Joe Manchin, who on Friday expressed concern about the cost of a third stimulus check and suggested the financial aid could be better focused on those most in need of the money. "Absolutely not. No. Getting people vaccinated, that's job No. 1," Manchin, a centrist from West Virginia, told The Washington Post on Friday when asked about more stimulus payments. "How is the money that we invest now going to help us best to get jobs back and get people employed? And I can't tell you that sending another check out is gonna do that to a person that's already got a check." Shortly after, Manchin appeared to have softened his stance. According to NBC News, Manchin's spokesperson said he was "open" to hearing President-elect Joe Biden's case for a $2,000 stimulus check, but prioritizes vaccine distribution. Funding to deliver the COVID-19 vaccine is also on Biden's agenda for a large stimulus bill. With the Senate evenly divided and incoming Vice President-elect Kamala Harris set to act as a tiebreaker, opposition from just one Democratic senator could sink the party's hopes for a large third stimulus check. "The price tag will be high," Biden said Friday in a press conference. "We need more direct relief flowing to families, small businesses, including finishing the job of getting people that $2,000 relief direct payment. $600 is simply not enough," he added. The tug of war over the $2,000 stimulus check builds off statements Biden and other Democratic leaders made Wednesday, hours before Trump's supporters forced their way into the US Capitol. Sen. Chuck Schumer, the Senate majority leader-designate, pledged to pass a $2,000 third stimulus check through Congress. The $2,000 checks were also a campaign issue in this month's Georgia Senate runoffs, where two Democrats defeated Republican incumbents. "One of the first things that I want to do when our new Senators are seated is deliver the $2,000 checks to the American families," Schumer said Wednesday from the Senate floor." Wait and watch. If (when) interest rates climb, interest on our debt may be larger than the DoD budget if it is not already. |

Quoted: Quoted: Why stop at $2,000? Why not $10,000? A million? Was just about to say the same thing. Why not. How about.. Take the highest public sector pension... Then give every that x 20 years in full from the feds right now. Last time I looked so Err were getting like 300k but I'm sure that has increased. But muh debt. Yea OK who cares. The public pension system is going to BK the states, localities anyway. Might as well collapse it all now. Secondly, just pass a law that all pensions shall use a rate of return factor of 25% then boom, iinstantly they are all solvent. Do itwho cares . |

I am unclear on the use of what they call a debit card. My regular bank issued debit card is my ATM card. Get cash from an ATM or use it to withdraw money from my checking account when using it like a credit card at a merchant.
If a person gets a debit card in the mail, can they use it to pay off credit card debt? Is it tied to the Feds "checking account?" If the envelope shows a clear IRS label, can it be stolen and used by anyone or is there a security feature so that only the designated recipient can use it? |
