I was wondering, does ANFO detonate fast enough to create the effect needed to create a shaped charge? The detonation velocity of ANFO is at most 4000 meters per second, RDX/C-4 is about 8000 MPS. Can it create the same sort of jet military explosives properly shaped can create? If it can, I'm sure it's not as effective, I'm just wondering if it can in some capacity. |
