I remember awhile ago someone...I believe it was SteyrAUG, posting a link to a site that offered free dvd ripping software?

Got a link?

I recommend DVDDecrypter and DVD Shrink, both free.

I can only assume that the flood of moral and religious condemnation that so many board members love to ooze is missing from this thread merely due to the fact that they aren’t technologically savvy enough to realize that DVD’s can, and with great regularity are, bootlegged?

Whoops!

For the copyright authorities reading this, that was a typo not an unconscious admission of guilt

How about the moral wrongs of raping us of our hard earned money at the box office and the video store by charging crazy prices. If Hollywood execs/celebrities/etc. would realize they really provide nothing good for society other than a few good memorable quotes for people to use in their sig lines, they would stop asking for so much money. And considering all of the terrible movies I have paid to see due to misleading advertisements without a refund (the customer is always right & satisfaction guarnteed my ass) I don't feel an ounce of guilt when I "back up" a movie. They can blow me. Same goes for the music industry. And don't even get me started on "athletes"...

Not tue. I have not run into a single DVD that could not be handled by DVDShrink alone.

Run program, load DVD, click open DVD, then click Backup.

When the DVD ejects, insert a blank and it ejects when done.

I have NO IDEA what you are doing.
