Did you watch today's game? They looked great. PLD was dragging the whole team down. Getting rid of him was a huge win.

Pens have the weakest 2nd half schedule with something like 18 games against Buffalo and NJ....only 4 points separate #1 Wash and #5 PIT in the East.

Pens will get in. If they don't, it will have to be a total meltdown.

The Wings are atrocious again. Rumors are we’re shopping some guys to acquire more draft picks after this last round of FA signings has only a couple standouts (Stecher, Ryan) and Mantha’s unexpected sophomore meltdown ... he is one of those guys that must get stuck in his own head and can’t or won’t play to his fullest potential. He’s invisible most nights but will sneak in a goal here or there. He’s a guy with star/big game potential but it will take a different kind of coach to coax that out of him.

I used to think “Fire Blash, promote Bylsma” but the more I read, the more I think “fire ‘em all”. Bylsma isn’t the asst. coach I had thought he’d be.
