A few friends and I are heading to Baltimore next month for a couple of Orioles games.  None of us have ever been to that fair city before.

Sooooo, I was wondering if the extensive ARFCOM membership had any tips for Orioles parking, restaurants, attractions, etc.

Any tips or help will be greatly appreciated.

Try your post on the 'hometown' forum. I am pretty new to the Baltimore area myself, so I can't help much.

I have cross posted it.

I have only been to a few games at the new ballpark.  Ironically the new park seems to be in a worse neighborhood than the old Memorial Stadium.  I would only park at Camden Yarks lots or lots at the football stadium or lots around Inner Harbor or downtown garages.  Parking on the street even a block west or a few blocks south of the Yard can be dangerous.  At one time Little Italy (about 1 miles due east of Camden Yard) had several excellent restaurants.  There are also seafood places at Inner Harbor and around the harbor basin.

Lots of street scum in Baltimore, so don't park anyplace unguarded.

Ya can't carry, first of all.  he).
I can recommend the Omni hotel, but at $169 a night, it might be a little much for the wallet.  (Stayed there for business, thanks A-L).

[nerd]The Maryland Science Center isn't all that good.  Geared more for the 6-9 y.o. crowd[/nerd]

Be careful north of the center of town - I drove through it in daylight, and it looks like a bad part o' town.
