Does Bushmaster offer tours of their factory to indivdual people and do they have a store to buy parts (non ffl) at thier factory.

I would suspect that they have very strict policies on outside visitors.  I think most ammo manufactureres are very sensative about their production secrets.  I would guess firearms makers would be the same.

I've asked several times and they have always said no.  Last time I asked was around 4 years ago...

It doesn't hurt to ask (ya never know) but don't get your hopes up.

Yep, remember up until a few years ago, Silicon Valley(San Jose, Calif area) tech companies were giving Japanese execs & engineers plant tours, well they took that info home and the rest is history.

Even though rifling a barrel is ages old, the technique of how to do its really proprietary. Notice you never see pics of Remington making their 5R barrel.
