I think you will think this is cool, so I hope you can give a couple suggestions.

My 12 year old daughter has a science fair project due on Monday.  She was all set to turn in a project on horses, but today the school put up "NO CCW" signs on the doors.  Conversation ensued among the children and their teacher about the subject and my girl said "It's stupid to not allow the licensed people to carry their guns.  A criminal doesn't care about the LAW, why is he gonna care about the sign on the door??  At least the licensed person is abiding by the law."

Everyone thinks she is nuts...  So she has decided to scrap the report on horses and she is going to do a project on guns, crime and concealed carry!!

Is she badass or what?!?!

Oh, the school?  Private Christian school that is pretty uptight.  We put her in the school to take a year off Homeschooling so my wife could have a "sabatical."  That was a mistake...

So...we have John R. Lott books and "A Nation of Cowards," what else can she use in order to diversify her sources?

Many thanks.

I know you're up against the clock, but try to make the paper as much of an ORIGINAL work as possible, rather than simply repeating what's found in various sources (c'mon, we've ALL been in school, right?)

Anyone know where the FBI crime stats are kept? FBI.gov or something?
