If you are in any of the following states/areas, and you EVER go to, or NEAR MicroCenter, Ohio needs your assistance. Microcenter locations: • CA - Santa Clara • CA - Tustin/Irvine • CO - Denver • GA - Duluth/Gwinnett • GA - Marietta • IL - Chicago • IL - Westmont • KS - Overland Park • MA - Cambridge • MI - Madison Hts/Troy • MN - St. Louis Park • NY - Westbury/Long Island • OH - Columbus • OH - Mayfield Heights • OH - Sharonville • OH - Westerville • PA - St. Davids/Radnor • TX - Houston • TX - Richardson • VA - Fairfax We want to know what if any CCW laws you have & what, if any signage is at your local MicroCenter... We've been pretty successful in convincing businesses (one by one) to take down their No CCW signs. I'm certain it has helped that it makes NO sense to have them up in the first place ;) Thanks so much for your assistance! |

Last time I was in the MicroCenter in Richardson,TX was probably a year ago; but I was carrying. Texas law gives the exact language and requirements for a sign to prohibit legal concealed carry. This is called the 30-06 sign (after the section of Texas penal code it relates to). Some places will also use the slash through the handgun or some other sign that doesn't prohibit legal concealed carry under Texas law. MicroCenter in Richardson, TX had neither of those last time I visited. |

Quoted: They will only let you carry phasers if you also wear official issue star fleet uniforms. Hey...hey...hey...That sounds awful close to a personal attack...You just need to be assimilated.[(:|)] On a serious note, where do you think the nerd that fixes your pc gets stuff?!? Better play nice. ByteTheBullet (-: |

What had happened is that ALL OHIO based stores posted. Believe it was a combo of bad interpretation of the law by their lawyers and general firearm paranoia/phobia. After Free Ohio and OFCC members got "done" with them... they changed their policy, all the signs SHOULD be down now. Thanks everyone for reporting on your area :) |
