French Upgrade Terror Alert Level
April 12, 2004 (AP) Paris, France

In light of the recent terror attacks in Spain and the discovery of a bomb underneath a French railway, the government of France has decided to upgrade their terror alert status from the current "Run" level to the more serious "Hide" level.

The two remaining levels, "Surrender" and "Collaborate", have not been used since the 1940's.

I figure they had already surrendered and started collaborating with the Enemy without a shot being fired. France of old still would at least put on a show, these days it just rolls over, and it ain't even their war.

Not meaning to hijack a thread but,
Do the french have good issue rifles?
I was thinking that any surplus (surrendered) that they have may not have been used much.

No, don't think so. On the flip side, now might be a good time to ship and sell panty-liners to their military. Might make a killing on that one.
