Wait a minute, here mister...

I posted a thread the other day asking what the rules were for posting a "dinner" pic, and no one replied.

You can't ding me for not following the "rules" now...

Stapler only needed for breakfast pix.  But you're right re a measuring device of some sort.

I tried to keep it simple.  You can measure anything you wish using the 1911 for perspective...

Where to start with this atrocity of a dinner pic?!?!

Let's start with the good.
1.Nice looking weapons
1.5 good all around calibers.
2. Nice grips on the Springfield.
3.SuperKudos for doing your own gun work.
4.Healthy looking meal.
5.Good photography.

Now for the bad.
1.No spare mags
1.5 spare mags aren't loaded
2. Not even a primary mag in the 1911 (That's not tactical at all! )[shock]
3. Where's the Beef !!  Seriosuly, where's the beef?
4. It looks like you started eating without us.
5. No measuring device.
6. No stapler (I don't care what anyone says, it's become an unwritten rule, that stapler are necessary)
7. No knife
8. What happened to your napkin?  Did you blow your nose in it before the photo?

The highest I can go on this is;
6.8

Also, this was before I added the smooth slim-line alumnagrips.

Hey! You're a Zonie! We gotta talk..I have a Commander I have been dying to have work on.. Is Yost still at Gunsite or did he move on like Yee did?

I gotta say, the salad sucks (I'm on low carb and eat LOTS-O-SALAD)..But that 1911 is just plain ol' SEXY!

Yost is now in Tempe, basically on the corner of 101 and University.

He does superb work.

Here is his website:

How do you like the Aluma Grips?
They look nice, and are not your everyday, generic, grips.

Well, Brownells kept sending me the wrong ones..and I liked all of them so much, I kept them.

The really are very well made.

I personally prefer the slim line, but they make several configurations.
