Anybody make Kentucky coffee? Irish coffee but using the vastly superior bourbon in place of Irish whiskey. I made it once but it wasn’t as good as I thought it would be. May have been my “recipe.” |

Really starting to like Old Grand Dad 114, and since it's under 20 bucks, it's a steal. My absolute favorite is Garrison Bros bourbon made in Hye TX.  .Other regulars are Woodford reserve double oaked and Wild Turkey Longbranch. Favorite rye is Whistlepig Piggyback 6yo |

So in a bunch of reviews I was seeing that the EW BiB was regarded as equal or better than the EW SB... Bull.. that is a big hunk of poop. I just did a compare and contrast.. the Single Barrel blows it out of the water... in smell, flavor, and even mouth feel! Attached File Attached File And as always YMMV. Its all about personal pref.. and i prefer EW single barrel! |

| Stopped by my local privately owned liquor store yesterday. Eagle Rare: $69.99, Buffalo Trace: $39.99, Henry Mckenna 10 year: $79.99. I always see guy saying they're getting Buffalo Trace and Eagle Rare for around $30 a bottle. I did pick up the Buffalo Trace because I can never find it. Hadn't had it in a while but I was quickly reminded I enjoy it. I also picked up a bottle of Old Forester 86 proof for around $25, I'd never tried it but it was pretty decent and I'll probably buy it again. |

ABC Liquors is the big chain around here, they get Buffalo Trace in small quantities but it's usually sold out before they even unload it off the truck. It usually runs closer to $30 when they have it. I don't think It's $40 good either but I figured I better get it while I had the opportunity. Eagle Rare is basically unobtanium around here. Tennessee whiskey has to be filtered through sugar maple charcoal and that is not allowed to be considered bourbon because it adds additional flavoring. |

Nope, the Lincoln process has been determined to in no way disqualify tennesee whiskey from being bourbon.
