I am in the process of building a Rock River Arms AR with a 20" BBL and flat top receiver. I have done a lot of research and I would like to know the best 20 and 30 round magazines and where to find them. Also I want a good scope mount for the flat top. I will be mounting a Nikon or Leupold tactical scope. Who makes a quality scope mount. I am thinking about the Hi-Rise sold by RRA, but are there other sources? I do not see a lot of 20 round magazines listed for sale, I am sure the reason is the 30 round is too long for prone shooting. Thanks for any help. 77Bronc |
| I suspect that because they are a bit 'older', there are fewer 20's around than 30's----also, with many believing that there is a strong possiblity that the AWB will sunset, some folks are 'dumping' their 30's, fearing that with expiration of the high-cap magazine ban, that 30's will be selling for $10-$12 each. Not so with USGI 20's---they aren't making them any more and they likely won't go/come down in price----certainly not much, if at all. |
