[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Question about Colt Model 6700

I've got a Colt Match Target Competition HBAR... is the barrel and chamber chrome lined? How do I tell if it is or not? I know this is probably a stupid question but someone asked me and I couldn't give them an answer.

As I understand it, the chamber is but the barrel isn't. Something about the competition barrel not being able to get the chrome as even as a non-chromed barrel & thus not as accurate as it could be.

That's MY story & I'm sticking to it. [}:D]
