Damn. FUCK!

Kerry can say anything and the media won't call him on it. He can whip up the "selected not elected" crowd by saying that GW "put in office by the Supreme Court" and NO ONE calls him on it.

GW can't go negative against Kerry because the media will spin whatever he says around, ignore the content and turn it right back around that the President is "mudslinging" and focus on the TONE of what he says rather than the content (which is damaging to Kerry).

GW can't go positive because the media will ALSO spin that like they did with his 9-11 ad.

Just like during Clinton's impeachment, the incessant, non-stop, daily poll numbers will keep the sheeple in the "bandwagon effect" of going along with the majority numbers showing Kerry leading Bush.

Kerry can call the President "stupid, arrogant, unpatriotic, inept, incompetent, greedy, screwed-up and fucked-up" and yet the media give him a pass and slam BUSH as being the one who's "going negative". And every one of those words have already been used by Kerry to describe Bush.

The media let Kerry bring up his Vietnam record over and over and yet NEVER demand he turn over his medical records and explain HOW he got three purple hearts in four months. And at the same time the media hammer away at Bush for his "incomplete" Air National Guard records.

When GW finally does capture Bin Laden, the media will yawn and Kerry will ignore it (like he ignored the new Iraqi Constitution signing) and turn it around and say something like "Okay he found Bin Laden - big deal. Now if Bush can only find those 4 million jobs he lost".

IMO, Kerry's gonna win this one. The media will guarantee it this time.

I only hope that GWB can pull a Ronald REagan over the next couple of months.  If you recall, the media HATED Ronald Reagan.  The libs thought he would start WWIII.  Back then, there was no Fox News, there was no internet, and no Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity.

Reagan was still able to run the most successful presidential campaign in history.

Go ahead, Kerry.  Is he going to keep saying that for 8 more months?  That'll be stale by next month, when Kerry will have to start accusing Bush of trying to assassinate the Easter Bunny.

Meanwhile, that's 8 long months for Kerry to reveal himself as the wanker we all know that he is.  Prime example, this bone-headedly stupid gaffe

[b]Civil Rights Group Seeks Kerry Apology
Mon Mar 8, 8:49 PM ET

WASHINGTON - The head of a civil rights and legal services advocacy group wants Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry (news - web sites) to apologize for saying he wouldn't be upset if he could be known as the second black president.

"John Kerry is not a black man — he is a privileged white man who has no idea what it is in this country to be a poor white in this country, let alone a black man," said Paula Diane Harris, founder of the Andrew Young National Center for Social Change.

Last week, Kerry told the American Urban Radio Network: "President Clinton (news - web sites) was often known as the first black president. I wouldn't be upset if I could earn the right to be the second."

Kerry's spokesman Chad Clanton said: "This was intended as a light-natured remark about President Clinton's strong legacy with African Americans It is a legacy that John Kerry would like to build upon if elected president. John Kerry has a record of fighting for civil rights and as president he will continue this fight."

Harris also criticized civil rights leaders who "sit back and ignore these types of comments, a practice that further insults African Americans."

"It seems that all these leaders care about is their personal agendas in how a 'John Kerry' will keep up their personal causes," she said.

I think (and hope) that this is going to be an election marked by stunned and haggard media types jabbering at one another about the fact that they got it wrong. "Apparently, Dan, there was a major, major shift in alignment during the 24 hours before the election. All indications were that this would be a big win for Kerry or a squeaker for Bush. This outcome is simply incredible."

Always remember that the media wants a race.  There is no money in a wipeout.  Right now, they must prop him up a a true contender.  Kerrys enormous flaws will surface in the established media in time.

I'm not saying that he's got no chance, but the only thing the public knows about him now is that he's going to win the nomination, and that he doesn't like Bush.  That will only get him so far.

Actually I have no problem with this staement.  If they truly believe that Bush was selected by the courts then that means he can still legally run for President 2 more times since it clearly states that he can only be elected as president for two terms.

Hence, GWB can run, and win, in both 2004 and 2008.

This bears seeing twice.  It is exactly right on the money.

The only thing that sells soap to the sheep is conflict.  As long as they can have "Breaking News", they will have more advertising dollars.
