Good job. Just do not figure that dipping is quitting smoking. If you think quitting smoking is tough, I'm here to tell ya that dip is easily 5X worse. When I quit dipping I actually started smoking again (I was going absolutely crazy) because quitting smoking is far easier than quitting dipping. Be strong! |

Good luck to you. As I got older I hated how much my life centered around smoking. An older guy at work quit smoking with the patch and had a couple left. I wanted to quit so I got them from him and put one on. Then I started to think that eventually (30days) I'd be on my own so I never used any more and was able to quit without them. I smoked as a kid and then had a pack a day habit till I was 50. For some strange reason it was easy to quit, maybe the right time or something. I was in good shape and went on several 100 mile rides on my bike, while I was still smoking so maybe my improved health and fitness was helpful. |

| I've been quit almost a month now. This is my 129th attempt at quitting. Been chewin' nico gum & suckin' Commit lozenges. Maybe I'll just suck & chew these the rest of my life? Quitting is the hardest thing I have EVER done, am doing, hopefully. A co-worker of mine was just told he has a year to live. We are throwing him a "going away" party next week. It's very devistating. Good Luck to you! |
