So here I am in sunny old England and a local asked me what I was going to do when I get home after this two-month trip. I told him I was planning on getting that Bushy M17, a Mossy 590, an FAL, and I'm trying to decide on a pistol, leaning toward a Springfield XD Tactical (caliber TBD). He was semi-speechless. "Do you need training to shoot in the States?" Only if you want to be competitive. "What would you do with all those guns?" Shoot them. The concept of just going out and buying a bunch of firearms like that is, quite literally, foreign. There's no place like home...There's no place like home...There's no place like home... I'll be home at the end of March, happily reunited with my AR. Oh- and my family too! |
