[ARCHIVED THREAD] - a request for quotes

I'm writing a paper compairing and contrasting philolophies of Machievelli and Aristotle for collage( I know,YAWN!!!) I'm relating their thoughts to the political system of the USA, Political quotes would help a bunch. I am asking the ARF community because I see a LOT of good qoutes in some of your sig lines. What is needed is;
1. full quote, please no shorted versions.
2. author.
3. maybe a bit of context if the quote is dificult.
4. A website with quotes would be great too.

Here's a thought. Every valid quote from either of them is in one of a few books. Why don't you get the books and read them so that you'll have the complete quotes as well as the context in which they are presented.
