I don't think you can buy surplus US military sniper rifles anywhere, but there is a company called [url]www.ironbrigadearmory.com[/url] This company is run by a former U.S. Marine Corps RTE armorer. They produce an exact copy of the M40A1, but they're very pricey. You'd probably be a lot better off getting yourself a Model 700 PSS or LTR and getting it modified to your specs. YMMV.
