| who has one, what is it, and how do you like it, i am considering the sony trv19 |

If you're talking about the Sony Mini DVD still Video camera, I have it and I like it. However 5Meg pix are way to huge for some applications. You can however blow up film prints better w/them. Something else. It's not a fast to take pix w/then a camera w/Flash memory as It has to write pix to the disc. But you still can use multiBurst to capture action shots. All said-I like it for my needs. |

I picked up the TRV22 earlier this month. I would recommend this one over the TRV19. The TRV22 has the ability to connect to a VCR or other camcorder in order to transfer your old tapes to MiniDV tapes. I purchased my camcorder from www.bhphotovideo.com & was pleased with their service. Quick order processing & shipping. If you do order off the internet, be careful who you buy from, there are lots of shady dealers. This is a good article to read before you buy: http://www.pcworld.com/resource/article/0,aid,107855,00.asp |
| i wazs looking at the 22, but i have no old tapes to transfer, and the illumination featyre on the nightshot is weak, i will use a real ir illuminator if i need one, and i really do not think i need the memory chip deal iether, i already have a 5 megapix digital sony camera, but just need to have a compact with a firewire hookup to load vids to disc |
