Help me out. I have hours of MPEG I need to cut up and I dont want to have to review it all.

I know the times I need to cut it up but the software I have makes me wait for it to render each clip.

Shareware would be cool but I dont mind paying either

If you have hours of MPEG files, good luck. Video editing is a time consuming process, AFAIK, there's no quick and easy way to do it.

All the video editors I've used will re-render each clip. What will help and make a differnce is the speed of your PC's processor.

There's some useful programs listed here.

I use TMPGenc and like it a lot.

It's freeware, but there's a 30 day time limit on MPEG 2 encoding. Not a problem if you know where to look. [:)]
